RPM Retail Privacy Policy
RPM Retail is an online sales analysis service which uses retailers’ point-of-sale data to provide smarter stock decisions
Ownership of the Subscribers’ Data
All retail Data stored by the Service remains the Subscribers’ property.
Extraction of the Data
The Service will integrate with Data collected from each store’s Point-of-Sale computer or head office server. The Service gathers Data by installing a program which first extracts and then transfers the Data to the database used by the Service.
Removal of Data
Following a cancellation request from the Subscriber, the Data will be permanently removed from the Service within three business days of the effective cancellation date.
Access to the Subscribers’ Data
The Data collected from the Subscriber is stored securely in a database and is only accessible to RPM Retail Ltd staff, approved contactors and parties authorised by the Subscriber. It is the Subscribers’ responsibility to keep their password safe.
Monitoring usage of the Service
RPM Retail Ltd staff and approved contractors can access usage information and the Data to better understand how subscribers are using the Service in order to improve the design and user experience. The Service may also prompt users with suggestions on ways to improve their own use of the system. All usage information is stored in a secure data warehouse facility.
Sector Disclosure
RPM Retail Ltd reserves the right to disclose the results of aggregated sector data in order to provide commentary on sector performance and promote the Service. A Sector is defined as a collection of stores which are not affiliated to a retail group. A Sector may also be comprised of multiple retail groups, however in this instance, approval will be sought from each retail groups’ head office prior to any disclosures being made.
The Subscribers’ Data is provided securely across the Internet
Servers used in conjunction with the Service have SSL Certificates issued by Go Daddy Secure Certificate Authority, so all Data transferred between Subscribers and the Service is encrypted. However, the Internet is not in itself a secure environment and the Subscribers’ browser must support the encryption security used in connection with the Service.
The Subscribers’ browser stores no information that will identify the Subscriber or your Organisation
The Service utilises "cookies" and other technical measures that support the monitoring of traffic patterns and help make subsequent use of the Service more efficient. RPM Retail Ltd will not sell or otherwise provide the Subscribers’ personal information to a third party, or make any other use of personal information about the Subscriber for any purpose which is not incidental to the normal use of the Service.
The Subscriber can opt-out of any email communications
RPM Retail Ltd sends notifications about the Service along with billing information and other relevant communications to the Subscriber via email. Where appropriate email communication will contain clear and obvious instructions describing how the Subscriber can opt to be removed from the mailing list. RPM Retail will remove the Subscriber upon the Subscribers’ request.
The Subscriber is responsible for checking the Privacy Policy of any third-party applications with which the Service links
The Service may contain links enabling functionality provided by third-party applications. RPM Retail Ltd takes no responsibility for the privacy practices or content of these applications.
This policy may be updated from time to time
RPM Retail Ltd reserves the right to change this policy at any time and any amended policy is effective upon the posting on this website. RPM Retail Ltd will make every effort to communicate these changes to the Subscriber via email or notification via the website.

Use of the Service is subject to this Privacy Policy and should also be read in conjunction with the Terms of Use which can be viewed at http://www.rpmretail.com/terms-use. In the event of a conflict or disagreement between this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use, the Terms of Use will prevail.
